Compulsory Stock Obligation brokerage
The broker behind your CSO position
Nexero connects companies that need compulsory stock cover with stockholders that can provide it. You deal directly with the broker who finds the right fit, agrees the terms and stays with the process through documentation and registration support.
What we do
Your obligation.
Your stocks.
Our job.
For obligated parties:
If your company must meet a compulsory stock obligation, we find qualifying cover for your jurisdiction, product, volume and period. We bring the right people together, negotiate the terms and stay involved through the documentation and registration process.
For stockholders:
If you have qualifying volume to place, we introduce you to obligated parties with a real requirement. We help shape the ticket, agree terms that work for both sides and keep the process moving.
One broker, from the first conversation
to the end of the agreement.
What is a Compulsory Stock Obligation?
EU countries must maintain emergency reserves of petroleum products. Some countries pass all or part of that obligation to the companies that import or sell those products.
A company can hold the required stock itself or reserve qualifying stock held by another party. That arrangement is known as a ticket. The rules vary by country, which is why the right counterparty, structure and documentation matter.
How we work
What we take off your mind
One desk finds the position and handles the paperwork that comes with it, for the whole life of the deal.
Pricing and market intelligence
CSO ticket pricing is opaque and can move quickly. We give you a clear view of the market, explain the options and help you decide when to act.
Tickets and delegation
From volume, product and location to period and price, we help turn the requirement into terms both sides can work with.
Checks before signing
Before a ticket is agreed, we work through the practical points: the stock, the available evidence, the counterparty and the proposed structure.
Cross-border cover
Where the rules allow it, cover may be held in another member state. We help identify workable routes and the requirements that apply.
Registration support
Each jurisdiction has its own forms, timelines and process. We coordinate the documents and support the steps needed to put the arrangement in place.
Renewals and administration
Changes, renewal windows and expiry dates are easy to miss when the year gets busy. We keep the ticket on the desk and help make sure the next step is not missed.
Why Nexero
Why Nexero
Where we stand
Only your deal on the desk
Nexero does not hold or sell stock. We are not here to steer you towards a position of our own. We are here to find the structure and counterparty that fit your requirement.
A clear view of the market
We speak with both sides of the market: stockholders about the volume they can place, and obligated parties about the cover they need. That gives us a better basis for making the right introduction.
Same names, quarter after quarter
This is a small market. We return to the same counterparties quarter after quarter, so a good name, clear communication and long-term relationships matter in every conversation.
